A2: The base uses powerful neodymium magnets for a secure grip on flat ferrous metal surfaces (e.g., security doors, file cabinets, refrigerators, car bodies). It can hold several times its own weight and won't fall from normal contact. For non-metal surfaces, use the adhesive sticker.
